The threads of hospitality

Rooted in her New England upbringing, Kathryn’s connection to hospitality began long before her career. From polishing her mother’s silver to setting the Thanksgiving table, she came to understand that the joy of creating for others would become a guiding principle for her life. That ritual became the foundation of her work, transforming gatherings into an opportunity to provide a personal and thoughtful experience.

Kathryn began her career in New York City with renowned event designer David Monn, where she discovered her love for the precision and artistry of events. Drawn to the world of food and beverage, she transitioned into restaurants, developing event programs for some of the country’s most celebrated dining institutions. After opening NoMad Los Angeles under Chef Daniel Humm and Will Guidara, Kathryn deepened her expertise in large-scale offsite production for chefs and brands alike. In 2022, Kathryn brought her expertise to San Francisco, joining Lindsay and Chef Michael Tusk of Quince & Co. to produce events all over the country, further refining her ability to merge culinary excellence and event design.

Today, Kathryn consults with chefs, restaurants, and event planners nationwide, building and managing teams, producing offsite events, and overseeing every detail of hospitality, from design and service, to menu and wine. Her work is defined by a belief that hospitality, like the finest fabric, is woven from who you are.
